Story
🏃🏼♀️
Starting from 02.02.2021 I will be commencing 100 consecutive days of running, fundraising for Architects Benevolent Society. ABS is dedicated to helping both workers and students in the wider architectural community. As a charity, ABS provide confidential advice, support and financial assistance to the architectural community and their families in times of need. They help those in the midst of unemployment, redundancy, bereavement, mental health struggles and much more. In late 2020, ABS appointed me as an Ambassador, and it is a privilege to be advocating and raising funds for all the great work they do! Check it out here: https://www.absnet.org.uk
ABS relies on fundraising, and they are now needed more than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a testing time for all, and ABS has been committed to helping as many people as possible. This is why I am asking for your support!
On a personal note, my mental health continues to be affected by the global pandemic. Running became a solace for me during the first UK Lockdown, I took it up on a whim - it soon became integral to my day - at times it was the only thing that felt achievable or attainable. That is why I am putting my newly acquired love (and hate) of running to good use!
Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated, and please share the great work the ABS do! Who knows what state I will be in after 100 days, but hopefully contributions and support will be all the encouragement I need.
See you on the other side! 🏃🏼♀️
