Hi guys,

 My name is Becky and I am going to be doing a 5 mile swim at Surrey sports park on 4th June 2017  to raise money for Bloodwise. 

 My friend recently got diagnosed with leukaemia and we don't know the outcome yet to its full extent and I also have a family member who is losing the battle with cancer. I have also had many other friends  that have had various cancers as well at such a young age. 

 I want to do this for them because they have been so strong and determined to recover. If you could sponsor me so I can get a target of £150 before I do my swim in the next month  it would mean the world to me.

 I will be doing this alone as this is my personal fundraising event this year,  as last year I climbed the gherkin for the NSPCC. 

 To my friends who have battled with cancer and are in remission and to the ones who are fighting that battle right now we are all behind you and one day this silent disease Will be no more than some of you are the strongest people I have ever met and I am happy and proud to call you my friends. This one's for you!
