Story
With only a gut-wrenching five days until the Ealing Half Marathon, the reality of running 13 miles around all of my childhood jaunts is finally starting to kick-in and it's time to slip out of my running shoes (momentarily) and into my fundraising hat.
As my first long distance run, I have chosen to fundraise for The Back Up Trust, a charity that I work very closely with, who provide life chaning services to people who have suffered spinal cord injuries. From telephone support, wheelchair skills training, one-to-one mentoring and a variety of different courses, from sporting activities through to confidence building, Back Up help people rebuild lives following spinal cord injury and get the most out of life.
So please dig deep and give generously.
