Story
"I think I'm going to climb up these stairs, again and again, until I reach the top of The Gherkin."
"Ok, great. What is The Gherkin?"
"You know, the tall building we saw in London."
"Why are you going to do that?"
"For charity."
"What charity are you going to do it for?"
"Umm, The Treehouse."
"What do they do?"
"They help people who live in Holt who are sad or people who haven't got what we have."
And so, his weekend was planned...
180m...900 (20cm) steps.
The Treehouse Community Café, in Holt, was opened last year and has a community fridge, zero waste café, outdoor area with a vegetable garden and runs workshops such as children's yoga and music groups. This community centre is vital to the area as it provides a friendly and welcoming environment that aims to support people affected by poverty and deprivation in Holt. This effort particularly helps anyone who needs it from new mums, to vulnerable elderly people and children with speech difficulties. The School's goal of £6000 will go towards building a low-level treehouse with disabled access and a sensory garden.
