You don't think about hospices until you need them. 

When my family needed their services last year, they sent support staff and volunteers just to be with us when we felt despair and were frightened.

Afterwards their bereavement services gave me the support I hadn't realised I needed.

The fact is we'll all need them one day, but they still have to find in the region of £9,000 a day to continue to help people.

They were a lifeline at a very bleak time and I want to help them continue to help others.

Please help me as I run the 2015 marathon deferred from last year when my dear dad died. My goal is £1,000 - ever little bit helps.
