We lost Rob 5 years ago to an accidental overdose.  At the time, some of us knew that Rob struggled, but in all reality I don't think any of us knew exactly how much. I didn't find FAN until after he passed. I wish I had been more educated about addiction.  

FAN and the Alliance plan such an important role in our community with their programs for education, prevention, and support. 

Through substance abuse prevention, mental and physical wellness, and recovery support programs, the Alliance connects, strengthens, and mobilizes strategic partners to promote healthier communities.Many of us know someone or has been affected by addiction at some point in our lives and how it impacts the whole family. We are making great strides in creating an environment for families and youth in Oakland County that provides the education and resources for continued health.
