Story

6th October 2019 marks the one year anniversary of Tom’s death.

As part of the healing process and in memory of a much loved brother/son/friend, Glen, Sam, Mick and other friends and family have signed up to run the Bournemouth Marathon on this day. This was a run that Tom had previously done and with it falling on the anniversary it felt like the right way to remember him.

Any donations towards CALM would be gratefully received however more appreciated would be any words of encouragement and support on the day for what is bound to be a tiring and emotional day.

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Our goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for all men.CALM PROVIDES>A free and anonymous helpline 0800 58 58 58 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) staffed by trained professionals>Bereavement support >A website www.theCALMzone.net with inspiring content by men for men>Campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and male mental health.Help us save lives.
