I am hoping to raise £500 to support Challenge Aid in funding a school of Hope for a year. That is all it takes. ChallengeAid's  aim is to create "Schools of Hope" for aspirational young people living in slums in East Africa who often cannot attend school during the day due to family or work demands. They offer a complementary & alternative form of schooling which allows them to continue supporting their family but also have a brighter future. Through our work, we enable some of the poorest people in Africa to escape a lifetime of poverty.

I have worked with children and in education throughout my career and it has been a hope to travel and volunteer in a project which promotes this in Africa. Next year I am hoping to make this happen by visiting the project I have funded to teach or support education in the project ,  hopefully to link them with a local school in Frome to continue that support for future sustainability. 

Life is an adventure and at 50 years mine is getting more exciting and rewarding. Please donate what you are able to make this happen. Every penny is much appreciated.
