I have entered the ballot for the Royal Parks Half Marathon, for the previous two events and been unsuccessful in gaining a place. The Nystagmus Network advertised a place running for them, I didn’t hesitate and replied immediately. I was lucky enough to be chosen to run for NN. 

Nystagmus is close to my heart, my son lives with the condition; it causes his eyes to “wobble” and this affects his vision. It doesn’t affect what he can do much, it is always in the background. 

The Nystagmus Network was a beacon of hope and information when we had the diagnosis when he was a few months old, providing information and support. They also fund research to help understand and make things better for people who live with the condition.
