Dad and I are running the London Marathon on the 25th April.  We are raising money for The Mulberry Bush Organisation, in Oxfordshire. 

The Mulberry Bush looks after some of the most damaged and challenging children in Oxfordshire.  They provide therapeutic care, treatment and education for severely emotionally troubled and traumatised children.

 OFSTED have said that "The Mulberry Bush is an exceptionally effective school that provides an outstanding quality of education and care for its vulnerable pupils. It very succesfully achieves its aims of 'returning children to a stable home base and local school' through its multi-disciplinary approach to 'learning to live and living to learn'."

I am teaching Science in another school, also with some troubled children.  However, the children at the Mulberry Bush are not able to attend mainstream schools.  It is hard to imagine how hard the staff have to work, and they need money to keep the school going.  The children live at the school and are supported and cared for around the clock.  Their family's are given help and guidance so that the children can eventually live back at home. 

We both feel that this charity is really worth while, and we really appreciate your help.
