We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

I am going to be climbing Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the UK through the night by moon/torch light.

I'm doing this to raise money for the Alzheimers Society, in honour of my Papa Len who was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2009. I have been caring for him over the past few years and it is heartbreaking to watch him disappear in front of me. Every day is a challenge and it's going to get tougher. Our family have suffered terribly at the hands of this disease and it terrifies me that it could happen to someone else that I love.

I want to raise as much as possible to help a great organisation that has helped me and my family.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
