Beccy - In Memory of my Dad

SimplyHealth Great North Run 2018 · 9 September 2018 ·
I lost my dad at the age of 49, in his very short battle against Bowel Cancer.
Today, I managed to get a late entry into the Great North Run, where I will be running half a marathon (13.2miles) from Newcastle to South Shields
So, I wanted to do something to challenge myself as well as raise money for this wonderful charity at the same time.
Bowel Cancer UK, are the leading bowel cancer research charity which help save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer, which is more people than you realise.
Bowel cancer remains the UK’s second biggest cancer killer with over 16,000 people dying from a disease which if caught early enough is preventable, treatable and curable.
Please donate generously to
this amazing charity, for everything they have done for my people who are suffering from this awful disease, so that their amazing work can continue to help other families in difficult situations.
