Story

March marks the beginning of #endometriosis awareness month with Endometriosis UK #EndoTheStigma ...

• 1.5million people in the UK alone suffer with endo, that’s #1in10

• On average it takes 8 years to get diagnosed

• It’s not ‘just’

My connection with endometriosis ... I’m living with Endometriosis and Diaphragmatic Endometriosis (yes you can have endometriosis on your diaphragm!) and unfortunately it’s a chronic illness that doesn’t have enough awareness at all. It comes with multiple surgeries, regular blood tests, daily medication and plenty more.

So this month I’m taking part in the 1 in 10 challenge to help raise awareness. Whilst there is currently no cure for endo, there is certainly more that can be done. More reasearch and more awareness will hopefully lead to a better future for the next generation.

Will you support Endometriosis UK to #EndoTheStigma by taking on the 1 in 10 challenge? This Endometriosis Awareness Month we are asking our supporters to join in the 1 in 10 challenge to support the 1 in 10 with endometriosis. The money you raise throughout the challenge will go a long way in helping us support those affected to get the support and healthcare they need.
