Story
Hello wonderful people!
Firstly, thankyou for taking time out in your no doubt busy lives to read this.
Heres a shocking statistic for you; each year in the UK 293,000 people are diagnosed with cancer. Although there are 200 identified forms of the disease, breast cancer is the most common totaling 16% of UK incidences.
Please read the following report for more information:
Cancer Research is the biggest single independent funder of research into cancer. It focuses on diagnosing, preventing and treating the disease supporting the work of 4,800 doctors nurses and scientists nationwide. In order to be sustainable and to continue saving lives, funds are crucial.
So what am I doing about it, I hear you ask??
Well... myself (Natalie) and Emmy are ruuning the 10k in Milton Keynes (Campbell Park) on Sunday 6th June 2010 and raising funds for this great cause!
We are currently in training for the big day and costume plans are well under way, any suggestions welcome :-D
I hope you will all dig deep and help us reach our chosen target of £500!!
Thanks again, Natalie and Emmy xx
