Story

RB Running Club was set up during lockdown and we swore we’d never do more than 10k…then a half marathon…

We have spent the last few sweaty months training for our first ever marathon. We are so lucky to be able to train and like Guide Dogs U.K. we think no one should be left out. Every day, 250 more people join the 2 million already living with sight loss. This number is set to double by 2050, which is why Guide Dogs UK’s work is more important than ever before.

Please help us raise £2000 for Guide Dogs U.K. for our first ever London Marathon this October! A couple of us got in on the ballot so we are all fundraising as a team. Please donate to support the amazing work Guide Dogs U.K. do and to help us achieve our dream of running together as a team and then, afterwards, jointly swearing we will never do this again.

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
