Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving Page.
I am a member of Cranbrook School CCF and this year I am going to be running Seven Half Marathons for my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am doing this in memory of HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh and will be raising money for the Royal British Legion.
Prince Philip served in the Royal Navy from 1939 to 1952 and was involved in active service on several occasions. He was a sub-lieutenant aboard the battleship HMS Valiant during the Battle of Cape Matapan, being mentioned in dispatches, and was awarded the Greek War Cross for heroism.
Like most organisations, RBL are feeling the effects of this pandemic. RBL is supporting members of the Armed Forces community who never imagined they would need support but like many people and communities are now suffering financially as a result of Coronavirus. Calls for assistance for accessing food have increased dramatically, as people need help to feed themselves and their families.
To keep up to date with my progress please visit and 'like' my FaceBook page where I will post news and photos as I work towards achieving my Seven Half Marathons in Seven Months.....

The first of my Half Marathons will be along the Cuckoo Trail in East Sussex between Heathfield and Eastbourne on 24 April.
My final Half Marathon, before Remembrance Day 2021, will be the Oxford Half Marathon, on 17 October.
