Story
I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 23 April 2023 in aid of Fight for Sight.
In 2015 my son, Joss, was diagnosed with uveitis which was caused as a result of him catching TB. The disease was so far advanced that his sight was permanently damaged.
Today Joss lives with significant sight impairment but, through scientific research, there is hope of improvement. Right now there are 2.5 million people in the UK who are living with sight loss. Fight for Sight is the only UK charity 100% focused on eye research and funds pioneering research into eye disease, providing Joss, and thousands of others like him with the hope that one day their vision will improve, and they will be able to experience the world in full technicolour glory.
