Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know my Mum has had Parkinson's for a few years now. Nevertheless Mum battles on her own usual undaunting way and deals with the challenges this disease brings in order to keep herself active.
I have decided that 2010 will be the start of my funding raising effort for Parkinson's UK (formerly Parkinson's Disease Society) Charity. This started at Christmas, but the main idea is to raise money by doing some reasonably serious bike rides.
First up in May is a marathon mountain bike ride, coast to coast in Scotland - in excess of 250 miles and a lot of vertical ascent!!
In June I will be doing the Northern Rock Cyclone - 102 miles on the roads of beautiful Northumberland.
Hopefully I will also be giving the English Coast to Coast a go in one day! Just need to find someone foolish enough to do it with me!
Anyway, I would be really grateful if you could help me support Parkinson's UK in the work they do to support people with Parkinson's, including ground breaking research, information and support, and campaigning for high quality services for all people with the condition.

Thanks
Ray
