Brighton Marathon 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·
In September 2019, we received news that our great friend and local hero Ray Featherstone had been diagnosed with lung cancer. What followed was weeks of testing and hospital appointments, ending with a recent major surgery in London. Throughout the whole process, Ray has been a pillar of strength - taking it all in his stride, and staying positive in the face of the unknown.
As a result, we want to give back, doing something that both honours his bravery, and helps to generate vital funds needed to learn more about this disease. On the 19th April 2020, we will be running the Brighton Marathon in aid of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation - the only UK charity wholly dedicated to defeating lung cancer.
All donations, no matter how small, help the charity to dedicate more time to defeating lung cancer. Anything you can spare to donate would be much appreciated, and will help keep us going over the 26.2 miles. Wish us luck!
