Story

Here on Rayner Ward at the Jersey Hospital we’re keen for you to join us in the fight against cervical cancer - by simply having your smear test.

There are 8 new cases of cervical cancer across the UK every day, and less than three quarters of women invited for a smear test take it up.

We want you to know that having your smear test is nothing to fear, not only that, it can save your life!

Please support us in our bid to raise awareness of cervical cancer and smear tests as we come together in small groups on March 20th at 10am to walk from St Aubin to St Helier town centre.

Not only will we be out in our purple t shirts spreading information and awareness, we are also raising money for the Jersey Cancer Relief and Macmillan Jersey - two charities who support us and our patients through their cancer journeys.
