Story
An Irishman an Englishman a Welshman and a (half) Frenchman set out on a Journey from the Isle of Dogs to Monaco by way of rather a lot of France. The objective is to raise money for The Children’s Trust our charity of the year and an outstanding cause, it has to be otherwise why would we risk life and limb, not to mention the ire of the locals, in our as yet to be procured ( by our inspired administrator and organiser Ms Louise Lellow ) trusty steed ( costing no more than 500 quid ) for a 1000 mile journey to Monaco. However, before we reach the starting line for this grand adventure we have a minimum of £2000 to raise for The Children’s Trust, which is where you come in!
Follow the links, or put your hand in your pocket, but above all give generously. The Children’s Trust is the only UK charity providing rehabilitation for children who suffer a brain injury following an accident or serious illness. Every year, over 5,000 children sustain a brain injury so severe that they are left unable to walk, talk, swallow, communicate or even breathe by themselves. With your generosity The Children’s Trust will be able to reach up to 100,000 children severely brain injured by providing critical support and services to them and their families where they need it most. As someone with rather a lot of experience of a child with mental disability, I know firsthand how much the services provided by The Children’s Trust mean to the children and families that they support.
So please give generously!
