My Dad was a vey colorful chap with a huge heart. Always honest and had time for a lot of people. He always gave to others and I know personally he helped a lot of my families friends if they were in need. One of lifespan's characters..

Cancer will affect 1 in 2 of us within our lifetime, without the help of many of our countries free services and the dedicated support, on all level, I would not have been able to take care of my Dad in his final days at home.. To me the Nurses and staff are true Angels in our/your time of need.. I owe them a lot!!

To say thanks and remember my Dad I will be running 82 miles (his age) from Burnley to Bispham (where he lived and where he grew up) and back! I will be taking up this challenge on the 11th July (his Birthday) 12th an 13th July. I will be accompanied by my best friend and Grand-dog. 'Wilson'. This will be an open event to anyone who wishes to run, walk or even ride a section or all of the 82 miles.. All i ask is that you try and raise some monies with me.. I hope to see your there!
