Everyone that knows me, knows my story but in case you don't or need a quick recap here goes - 

3 years ago my beautiful wife was diagnosed with breast cancer with localised spread to lymph nodes, then 1 week later we were given more devastating news that she also had a separate cancer - Stage 3C in her ovaries.

However my strong wife fought her way through 6 months of chemotherapy, a long difficult operation of double mastectomy and total hysterectomy along with 25 sessions of radiotherapy and several admissions to hospital along the way.. she has now beat it! 
And living her life to the fullest, almost back to normal, -Karen is a total inspiration to me and everyone that knows her!

The continuing problem however is when my wife was diagnosed she later found out at the Cancer had stemmed from a BRCA 1 Gene Fault which had been passed on from her dad and unfortunately to my wife and her sister (who was brave enough to under go preventative surgery).  This unfortunately means my children, Derek and Karay, could also have this gene fault.

So I am raising money to help prevent families in the future having to deal with the same experience that my wife and family have done!
