This year my father lost his battle with cancer. He passed away in his sleep as the result of a heart attack. Dad had under gone 6 weeks of chemo & radiotherapy and during this had received support from MacMillan Nurses. 

We have decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support to help fund research and treatment for current an future patients. Macmillan not only support those diagnosed, but also the friends and family around them. Cancer effects all who come into contact with it, and could leave you needing financial, emotional, care and relationship support. MacMillan have a support network available to help all through these situations.

Macmillan nurses are funded purely though donations so your help and support is pivotal to ensure that other sufferers recieve the same level of care.

Over the next year Fliss, myself along with other family and friends including Keiran Morgan, Chris Love & Paul Alvis will be taking on a number of challenges and hosting events to fund raise for this great cause.

January - Fitness First Classathon. 6 back to back classes working the whole body in a marathon of exercise! Marcus & Fliss!

February - 2 Bays Tough 10. A 10 mile run in Weston Super Mare. First 5 miles over sand & the second over cross country! Keiran, Marcus & Fliss!

March - Bath Half Marathon - Marcus & Fliss!

April - London Marathon - Marcus & Fliss

May - Bristol 10k - Marcus, Fliss, Elliot & others to be confirmed / roped in! 

June - LEJOG 2014! Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle in just 5 Days!!! Keiran, Dom & Marcus! 

June - 3 peaks challenge in 24hrs

July - Bolton Iron Man. 2.5mile swim, 112mile cycle, & 26.2mile run! Marcus, Paul & Chris!

July - Pier to pier swim - Fliss

July - 100 hole golf at Tall Pines Marcus, Russ, Jon & 9 others. 

We will also be hosting a number of events including the Macmillan Coffee Morning on 16th November (at Hanham Baptist Church), charity quiz nights, and others to be confirmed.
