Fundraising for The Children's Hospital Charity
Story
As you may (OR MAY NOT) be aware, Sheffield Childrens Hospital has always been very close to our hearts and is solely responsible for Kavan, Leighton & Jensen being with us today. Kavan under-went a life saving operation at just 18 months to correct a Intestinal Malrotation (twisted intestine), Leighton suffered a Febrile Convulsion at school last December and was brought back round by the Paramedic Team there and Jensen spent the first 5 days of his life in isolation as he was born with Group B Strep, a life-threatening bacteria in newborn babies.
To show our thanks and appreciation for EVERYTHING that our local hospital has done, all 5 of us will be completing a 2km fun run on Sunday 20th April. Without Sheffield Childrens our life may be a lot different to what it is now. The race will be our way of giving something back.
Sentimental part over with, long and short - dig deep - even if its a quid, every little helps - PLEASE SPONSOR US!!!!!
