Story
Yes, I'm back in fundraising mode to take on another challenge or two. After a lifelong friend got the dreaded C, I've been moved by his courage. Now, another close friend has been given the diagnosis. They are both being treated at the Royal Marsden and I'm fundraising in their honour.
I've already done a few challenges including the Manchester & London Marathons , last year completed running all the Tube Lines in London, above ground, a 10-hour 44 mile race, the Lea Valley Ultra (30 miles) and the Cotswold Ultra (44 miles) . The Thames Path Challenge - at 100km or 62 miles was my longest (but flat) run to date.
Istria mountain trail run by UTMB
I was first in my age group - 69km over 7000ft of climbing.
What Next??
In April 2024 I'll be running the Canyons 100km in Auburn USA. This takes place in Auburn USA and involves 3300m of climbing... I'm also planning on running the Elizabeth Line & Vanguard Way (unsupported?) this summer. There's also something planned for the Lake District so watch this space for updates!
Now their story - please read on xx
