Event: Hampstead Heath Walk 2019, on 9 June 2019
It is that time of the year again. Hampstead Heath Walk is back on Sunday 9th June 2019. Walk, jog or run the 5k or 10k route around Hampstead Heath. Bring your furry friend!

Story

I was diagnosed with cancer of the lower oesophagus and upper stomach in December 2017. After chemotherapy, I underwent surgery on 16th May 2018. Since then it has been a very long and sometimes very painful journey to get to where I am now. Maggies Centres have been a godsend to me, offering counselling, complimentary therapy and support during my journey. Even when we went on holiday to Scotland I was made welcome at the Inverness Maggies Centre. I am doing this walk as my way to say thank you to Maggies. I am determined to do the 5k walk and will try my best to do the whole 10k distance. If you can help in any way I would be so grateful. Thank you very much.
