Hope Rescue is a big part of my life. I cannot bear to think of healthy dogs being put to sleep in local authority pounds, for no other reason than they are lost, straying or discarded, or just not wanted any more. Hope Rescue saves them from destruction, and finds them rescue places, or even new forever homes. It can be an expensive process, which can involve short term kennelling costs, and in some cases large vets bills. The rescue needs every penny we can raise, and I'm glad to do my bit.

I am immensely proud to be a part of such a fantastic organisation.

I haven't shaved for seven years, so heaven knows what I will find underneath the thatch, when it comes off, but hey... it's for a great cause! I'll post the "after" photo, when the shocking deed is done. I just hope my dogs ( and my wife!) still recognize me afterwards!
