This year, RAW 1251AM are taking a very different approach compared to our usual marathon broadcast. This year we will be hosting a number of events during our 'Charity Week' in order to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. 

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from donations that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.

In the week commencing 8th February , we are hosting the following events:

The Great Flat Challenge: The creative social media competition in which your flat or household must come up with a post which could be on Instagram, Twitter or even TikTok following the our challenge brief,, 'Build A Tower'. You will be judged on creativity and presentation as well as the final product. To enter, donate £3 on the JustGiving page and include your social media handle. Then, upload your entry, tag us and include the hashtag #RAWBHF to be in with a chance of winning. 

RAW Gaming Stream: A series of Twitch streams hosted by a variety of RAW 1251AM members playing a selection of games including Sims, Minecraft and Lego Indiana Jones. During which you can donate to get people to carry out tasks or do things in game. Go to twitch.tv/raw1251am.

X1 Marks The Spot: The ultimate virtual treasure hunt! Can you use your skills to solve the clues and find where X1 is hiding? To enter, please make a donation (minimum £3), then fill out this google form to receive your first clue: https://forms.gle/GWe3qLpyaqVhzYdi8 The form will open on the day of the event (Feb 11th). RAW IDOL: A talent competition which shall be broadcasted to the nation on Friday 12th February on Youtube at 8pm.

#RAWdomActsofKindness: Tag your friends on social media to challenge them to do an act of kindness for someone in their life. Be as creative or as you'd like. It's all about spreading the love! Then donate £2 to BHF on this page. Two good deeds in one day! Go to our Instagram @raw1251am for some cheap or free acts of kindness.
