Story
Hi! Thank you for passing by. We are Guvi & Ravi (nephew & auntie) and we are raising awareness and asking for donations for the Brain Tumour Charity. This charity is very close to our heart and this is why.....
Just over a year ago in the summer of 2018, Guvi's younger brother and Ravi's nephew was informed that he has a tumor in his brain. He was 18 at the time and a very active, healthy eating, atheletic, ambitious, grade A student studying to complete his A-Levels.
Today, 04/09/19, It’s almost a year to the day when he went in for his surgery. Complications led to him having a stroke and surgery had to be aborted. A year later, the cancerous tumour is still there as are the effects of the stroke.
At the age of 19, he has gone through more than any of us go through in a lifetime but he hasn’t given up! More so, he has become an inspiration to us with his determination! He is currently going through chemotherapy and crushing it and life!
We feel it’s time to give back!
Two years ago, Guvi challenged Ravi to do a parachute jump and she shied away from it because she is petrefied of heights. However Ravi has decided that year she is taking on the challenge with the challenger! So Gurveer and Ravi will be doing a skydive on Friday 27th September 2019 to raise awareness and money for the Brain Tumour Charity which supports the funding of research into an area which is largely underfunded in comparison to other cancers and this is the treatment of Brain Tumours.
Please follow our page https://www.facebook.com/guviandraviraise4charity/ and our journey over the next few weeks and help us raise awareness and funds for the charity. 🙏
We jump on Friday 27th September 2019. Donations, likes, shares and anything you can do to help us reach our target of £5000 will be humbly accepted and very much appreciated! 🙏🙏
