Ukraine Appeal
Campaign by Save the Children (RCN England and Wales (213890) Scotland (SC039570))
Ukraine's children are living in fear. They face ever-present danger of being killed, injured or suffering severe emotional distress.

Story

Myself and a close group of friends in a moment of madness agreed to take on the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge walking a continuous 106km through the day and night starting on Saturday 30 April and 'hopefully' will be done in time to return to work on Tuesday! Although there are many charities in desperate need of funds we have decided that the Save the Children Ukraine appeal is a very worthy cause. Ukraine's children are living in fear. They face ever-present danger of being killed, injured or suffering severe emotional distress. The war is forcing children and families to shelter in basements and bomb shelters to escape explosions. They have already lived through eight years of conflict, enduring violence, shelling, and being forced to flee their homes.7.5 million Ukraine children are now in danger. Amid freezing temperatures, power cuts and food shortages, every day is a struggle to survive. Families are forced to flee their homes. They need urgent help accessing water, shelter, and food. Any donation will be so appreciated.
