Fundraising for Variety, the Children's Charity
Story
Randstad Care's very own Chris Tervit and Mujib Khan are looking to fundraise for Variety through participating in the gruelling Scottish Half Marathon! Here is what Chris has to say:
"Myself and Mujib are taking part in the Scottish Half Marathon on September 18th to raise money for Variety Children's Charity. The route is described as Fast & Flat and runs through East Lothian, starting on the road before going through the Golf Coast and finishing up at Musselburgh Racecourse.
Most may have put 2 and 2 together before and figured out that this is our first attempt at a fitness based running event. We are both looking to this as a way to improve our own general health and fitness all the while raising funds for a fantastic charity. It has become a key point of discussion in the office over the past few months and it's definitely getting competitive over who will finish up with the best time. Time will tell on who will have bragging rights on the Monday! All donations are welcome and appreciated!"
