Story
thank you to all who have helped to raise £10,000! It's amazing!
Let's keep going!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in Jan '13. Fought, two operations, 7 months of chemo, all clear Jan '14. Terminal diagnosis July '14. Undergoing palliative chemo and recovering from 4th operation.
Boring stuff out of the way! I am Lizzy. I have spent the last 3 years fighting against the sympathetic head tilt, and challenging people to look for the funny bits!
I have raised money for McMillan and cancer research. But want to spread a 'feel good feeling'.
I have always said I can't change where I am going, but I can change how I get there! Laughter and silliness, really are the best medicine! (Obviously the chemo helps!)
Random acts of kindness are brilliant....but what about random acts of silliness? Surely you can think of something silly that will have your mates peeing themselves?!
So, follow my lead, do something silly. Film it, post it, donate by text and challenge someone else!
Let's be as silly possible and show cancer it can't bring us down!
I have many many ideas to help!

It'll go to Loros. A hospice in Leicestershire and Rutland. I personally have experienced an unfortunate lack of support from MacMillan and therefore turned to Loros. Who are amazing at what they do! They are not nationally funded.
They provide counselling, day groups, shop, cafe, gardens, complimentary therapy, a sense of belonging and respite and end of life care.
It's not sad, miserable, serious or morbid!
Have a look at their page. I challenge you. I was pleasantly surprised!
