I am turning 35 this year and while I am lucky enough to have a roof right now, some don't. This is the reason why for this occasion, I wanted to raise money to help those who need it most.

The earthquake in Syria and Turkey has just hit and like all of you, I have been particularly touched by this tragic event, notably given the many Turkish and Syrian friends I have. 

For this fundraiser, I selected Salam charity, a well stablished charity which exists since 2011 and has offices in London, Canada and the US. It has already being involved in emergency crisis in Syria, Lebanon, Pakistan, or Africa, where they created lasting change by empowering communities, providing free lifesaving healthcare, food aid or shelter.
