We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

The Rambling Braves are doing two amazing fundraising events in 2023.
In February 2023, we are climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest mountain in Africa.
In June, we have joined Alex Neilan's TSD Tough Mudder team taking part in June 2023, Grantham,  attempting to beat the record AGAIN for the largest ever Tough Mudder Team in the UK and most importantly raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.

We have also convinced our sons (Adam and Edward) and Adam's girlfriend Jasmine to sign up for the Tough Mudder!!

Bowel Cancer is the second biggest killer in the UK and what’s more disturbing is that this is extremely treatable with early detection.

We have teamed up with Bowel Cancer UK to fight for more rigorous screening methods in GP surgeries to prevent unnecessary deaths.

Collectively, if we raise £20k for Bowel Cancer UK, they will be able to
implement new procedural protocols to all 9000 UK GP surgeries and with each GP surgery averaging 2000 patients, that’s 18 millions people who will have access to faster screening procedures.

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity funding targeted research, providing expert information and support to patients and their families, educating the public and professionals about the disease and campaigning for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They are here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
