Event: Northumberland Coast Mighty Hike 2023 - full marathon, on 15 July 2023
Participants: Sam Bell, Mark Allan, Melissa Bevington, Andy Richardson, Neil Carter, Denise Atkins
We are hiking a full or half marathon along the beautiful beaches and fishing villages of the Northumberland Coast to raise vital funds for people affected by cancer.

Story

In 2023, members of the Materials Processing Institute are taking part in the Mighty Hike, a 26 mile walk along the picturesque Northumberland coastline from Alnwick Castle to Bamburgh Castle to raise money for people living with cancer. Between us, we have pledged to raise £1500 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. It could go towards funding Macmillan Support Workers who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
