And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, [Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude." (Holy Quran 76:8-9).

Noor Relief Fund is raising money for its annual Ramadan Aid. We go to the most destitute families in Iraq and Yemen and provide them with food baskets for the holy month of Ramadan. Last year, we raised enough to feed 15,000 people but we need to do more. Much more.

A typical food basket to last the holy month will cost £60. Our representatives are busy working on the ground to purchase the supplies and then distribute them during our normal monthly sponsorship distribution. The baskets contain staple food items including rice, flour, oil, dates, tomato puree, beans, pasta, lentils, tea, sugar and more. 

Many of the children in these countries are living in extreme poverty, some barely surviving on one small meal per day. There will be untold consequences to this extreme level of suffering - please help us to reach as many people as we can. Every donation matters. Every pound matters.
