Ramadan Food Appeal - Help Feed The Ummah Food Packs: Reminders4Relief

The Ramadan Relief Appeal: Reminders4Relief · 30 April 2020
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Initially started on Instagram, @muslimoso has attained nearly 40,000+ followers in a small period of time, and is growing daily. The main focus is to provide free Islamic knowledge in the form of short daily reminders, quotes and videos. It is now time to do some additional good by helping the Ummah in other means through forms of raising money for good causes; primarily to help increase in charity.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbour to his side goes hungry." (Sahih Bukhari)
So how can we fill our stomachs, ending our nights with large Iftars knowing our fellow believers (children, elders, pregnant mothers, infants, etc.) have nothing, or close to nothing every night? These are our beloved brothers and sisters in Islam; it is our duty to help...
Will you keep a child safe from hunger?
This Ramadan, despite the pandemic, Islamic Relief is still working around the world, making sure your donations get to those who need them most. They are on the front lines in over 30 countries, just like they have been with every major disaster since 1984, delivering food, water and emergency relief to those in desperate need.
How you can help...
£50 can provide a family with food for a month.
This is even more important in this time of crisis where many of the most vulnerable around the world are struggling to even get the basics such as food they need to survive.
An average food pack to feed one family in Ramadan costs just £50 and can contain:
Food packs are made to tailor the needs tastes of the local people so they can eat what they love and know the best. They will be distributed to people living in poverty, people living in conflict zones as well as our brothers and sisters fleeing from conflict zones.
We will be feeding the most vulnerable across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
So, lets give more than ever this Ramadan.
Take a moment to try and envision yourself fasting for the day, knowing you won’t have anything to feed your hunger with when you finally open your fast. Imagine the only water you have to drink when breaking your fast is unsafe and dirty. Just imagine not having eaten properly, but knowing it's time to start your next fast.
The sad truth is, this is the REALITY of so many of our believing brothers and sisters out there. We must help where we can!
EVERY LITTLE HELPS.
No donation is too little, no matter what you can afford, please donate whatever you can; it will help in the long run In Sha Allah. Just think of the number of families we could feed if we came together and donated.
Also, please share this with your loved ones, friends and families so they can also contribute. May Allah [SWT] Bless you all in abundance.
Are you ready to help? Please don’t wait, people need your help more than ever. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH tells us; "Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity."
