My wife, Teresa and I are running the Liverpool Rock n Roll Marathon to help raise funds for Bowel Cancer research in the UK. 

I lost my Dad in 2001 to this wretched disease.  He was just 66 and had just retired the year before.  He didn't get the chance to see one of his grandsons while his other two grandsons were very young when he died.

I miss him every day and hope by furthering the research into Bowel Cancer it might prevent another family being robbed of a loved one as we were.
