RALPH & DAVID'S WELSH 14 PEAKS CHALLENGE
This year my brother David and I will attempt to complete the Welsh 14 peaks, and raise money for The Lily Foundation. This is an arduous journey covering 30 miles of trekking, 13000 ft of ascent (hopefully followed by 13,000ft of descent) graded scrambles, and 2 pubs. The pubs don't form part of the challenge, but they have been known to end numerous attempts.
As this is a 24 hour challenge it's likely parts of this will be completed in the dark.
The Lily Foundation is a charity close to our hearts, our youngest son Henry was born with a form of mitochondrial disease. We don't know what the future holds for Henry, but we do know that The Lily Foundation will support us, and many more families, throughout.
The Lily Foundation works very closely with the mitochondrial disease experts at the three UK hospitals where this disease is studied and researched (Oxford, Great Ormond Street, and Newcastle). The doctors at these sites are our best hope for Henry.
Please join us and help The Lily Foundation to continue their great work by donating.
