I've lost family, friends and colleagues to cancer and have seen first hand that the Hospice IOM provide an amazing service to so many people. They have kindly provided me with a placing to run the London Marathon. It's such a worthy cause and any donations will be very gratefully received. 

Although I have trained hard and ran a couple of marathons in the past, I am starting my training again from square one, through a bleak Manx winter but I'm looking forward to the challenge and can't wait to soak up the atmosphere in London.

I'll post occasional updates on my page with my training progress.
