Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On New Year’s Eve 2012, my mother lost her long battle against cancer. In an attempt to repay the kindness and support shown to my mother and family by The Martlets Hospice I am taking part in a charity walk from London to Brighton with them as the benefactors of all the money I can raise. The Martlets relies on donations to ensure the great work they do for people at the end of their lives continues. It takes around 24 hours, covers 100km (62 miles) on 25/ 26th May 2013. I have been inspired by my mother’s strength and determination to fight her illness, to endure pain and suffering, all so her loving husband, 3 sons, their wives, 4 grand children (one whom was only 4 weeks old when she died) and wider family, had as long as possible together. She would not have been able to do this without the caring, dedicated staff of The Martlets.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now
