In 2012 I was diagnosed with Cancer of the Bowel and Liver. After Two major surgeries and 12 sessions of intensive Chemotherapy I am blessed to be in remission. Throughout my Illness I was amazed with the hard work, dedication, skill and personal care I received. All those people without question saved my life. The positivity and kindness of everyone involved in my care from the surgeons to the nurses kept me feeling like I cannot give up.

So now I am once again enjoying life with my family so I feel I need to give something back. At the age of 70 I am going to jump out of a plane to try and raise money so people whom are in my situation are able to see a positive face that may give them the courage and will to carry on. Please give as much as you can for the work of the Macmillan Nurses by sponsoring me on my skydive on the 06/7/2014. I’ve already used one of my nine lives, I figure I’ve got a couple left!!
