Rally Beesonend in aid of Childline’ on Drive-it-Day 24th April 2022

The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs represents over 500 historic vehicle clubs across the UK.  For the last 17 years, in late April, it has facilitated Drive-it-Day, which promotes the use of historic vehicles on today’s roads. Drive-it-Day celebrates the 1,000 mile trial of 1900, where over 19 days, 65 cars toured major cities across the United Kingdom to raise the profile of the motor car - 35 cars completed the route.

The FBHVC’s Drive-it-Day is in support of the NSPCC’s Childline service,  and all profits from the sale of the Drive-it-Day rally plates across the country will be for the benefit of Childline.

As part of this, John and Sarah Worth are happy to be hosting  another Drive it Day event, following the success of the 2021 event. Either starting at Beesonend House and finishing at Shuttleworth or vice versa.

For a suggested donation of £100 per car, you can take part in this wonderful event.

Please leave your family name and a message in the donation box so we can identify each person taking part.

"We look forward to seeing you on the 24 April, and thank you for your support"

ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC
