Fundraising for Raleigh International Trust

Story

I will be working as a team leader of the ICS program over three months in the of Nicaragua from June - September 2015.

I will be managing and supporting a groups of international and national volunteers to work alongside youths and small businesses in the community to improve the lives and livelihoods of those living in poverty.

ICS is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID), ICS is a program where youth from around the world volunteer to build resilient communities and support economic development.

ICS is a charity that has 90% of it’s programs funded by the UK government, the remaining 10% is raised by the selected volunteers as a commitment to the charity.
My 10% target is £800 - all the money goes to helping the projects run and funds the set up of the businesses we will be assisting with.
