Dear Friends and Family,

In February 2012, we will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise money for Breast Cancer. We have chosen Breast cancer as our nominated charity as it is something very close to our hearts; my close friend lost his mother to this dreaded disease 11 years ago and most recently, Jaysel and Meera's mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer and has bravely fought it. Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK. In the UK in 2008 almost 47,700 women were diagnosed with breast cancer, that’s around 130 women a day.

Our inspiration for making the climb is our mum Rekha, who fearlessly fought breast cancer and overcame it. Your generosity will help "Pink Science" to continue and hopefully one day find a cure for this all too common affliction.
