We all probably know someone who has had Cancer . This event is to celebrate the advancement of research , treatment and cure of it since I lost my own Mum to this dreadful disease 28 years ago. My family were devastated when we learned that it was terminal, I will never forget the dread of losing her and never seeing or touching her again , hearing her voice , having her hugs and kisses. 
This made me think about families who have been through the same feelings but then had their loved one conquer this dreaded disease . How happy and relieved they must be . I can only go by what Mum had to go through to know we are celebrating exceptional people . They have kicked Cancer to the kerb!!
Let's celebrate all that are here to tell their tale and help raise funds for those that are still battling it . Let's celebrate too those that tirelessly raise money for this cause .
This a non-profit making event , all proceeds will go towards Brain Tumour research to help children like Raj Rana have a brighter future...
