I have joined the Mighty Hike Challenge rather late in the day, but I am determined to do this to help individuals and families that have been affected by cancer.  In 2007 I lost my bebe (grandma) to cancer of the liver and this May I lost my mum to uterine cancer. 

 I have witnessed the pain and anguish that people go through when suffering/dying from cancer and I hope we can prevent others from having  to go through it. I hope that by completing this challenge I can raise some much needed funds for Macmillan.
