Team Raise M Up has been founded to support The Prince’s Trust fundraising activities through the Million Makers challenge. We represent the Greater London Junior Business Council and Marriott International by driving several initiatives that aim to raise £ 200,000.00 by the end of 2023.
We aim to achieve this target with the following initiatives:
Take Care Community Challenge – each property to come up with their own fundraising activity with the aim of raising minimum of £500.00 per property. The fundraising activity can take place any time from 1st July until 1st December and we encourage you to be as creative as you can! As an additional sweetener, we challenge their hotel to match all amounts raised by the Take Care Committee charity event.
You Eat We Give – Marriott will donate £1.00 per cover for lunch and dinner served during September and October across all our managed restaurants in our 57 managed properties and some franchised locations.
Raise M Up Gala Dinner – hosting a dinner for all associates with a raffle & silent auction to raise funds. We aim to raise £7,000 from tickets alone plus donations.
Charity Menu Item - empower each participating Marriott property to choose one menu item from their menu, donating £1.00 from each sale of the item to the Prince’s Trust.
