Rainer's day at the sea-side

Fundraising for British Heart Foundation
I have been planning to go to Brighton for a nice day at the sea for quite a while and as it so happens the British Heart Foundation is organising a trip to the beach while collecting money for the good cause (London to Brighton Nightride). "CARPE NOCTEM!" I said to myself (and then I looked up on wikipedia what that actually means). Riding at night will allow me to spend more time on the beach on Sunday, right?
While collectiong money for BHF might appear to be an utterly altruistic endeavour, it is -in fact- partly driven by self-preservation and concerns about my own cardio-vascular state (particular the one AFTER the 100k). So please: GIVE PLENTY!
I have provided a picture on the left of my superior equipment that will help turning this story into one of compelling success. In case you are wondering about the ball; I will bring that as a small present to the beach-volleyball-exchange students from Sweden that will comfort my sore body after the glorious arrival in the party capital of the UK.
